Jack has been such a good baby am I am so thankful for that!! having 2 kids has not been hard at all. it might be cause I kinda know what I am doing this time around... he is now 6 weeks old and sleeping pretty good, he loves being snuggled and i love snuggling him!! I went back to work last week and ryan is doing awesome taking care of his boys!!

I was induced on 08-31-2011 @ timpanogas hospital. It went really fast, from the time they broke my water I had him in my arms an hour later he is a healthy little boy.. he was 7lbs 3oz! Oliver has loved him from day 1, always giving im lots and lots of kisses!

Oliver has now been potty trained for 8 weeks he has had his ups and downs, but for the most part done SO GOOD! we never even put him in a pull ups he just went straight into knickers! we are so proud of him and so happy we won't have 2 in diapers!

Halloween was really fun this year. It's was raining and pretty cold so we took oliver trick or treating at the mall which he loved but it was so crowded! after that we went to my mom's neighborhood he got lots and lots of candy especially from grandma! then our best friends Dillon and Kim through a crazy fun HALLOWEEN PARTY!

since me and Ryan have been married i have always had red black silver, and brown for my colors in my house and i am sick of red.. so ordered some fabric online and my sis in law Emily helped me sew them. I also painted most of my red stuff either blue of white and one frame green, it turned out really cute and now I am waiting too put up some curtains. The picture with Ollie going potty i just had to throw that one in.. that is how he goes potty so i went out and bought him a toilet seat that works much better! he used to say cold cause the water would hit his bum.. he is such a cute lil boy!

Hen Wedding

Jennifer, Ryan's sister got Married in August In the salt lake temple. It was a great day! Ryan was able to be her witness in the temple, it was a great sealing! Jen and randy decided to have a Alice in Wonderland themed wedding.. It turned out so pretty! we are so happy for her and we sure miss her especially Ollie!

Unfortunatly we did not go camping this summer... mainly I didn't want to have to deal with being up all night, and second I would have to save olivers life like a 100 times from the fire and if we were to camping or near water... he is a wild man. Me and Ry decided to go up American fork canyon and do a camp fire, it turned out good and Oliver stayed mostly away from the fire. We were right next to water and he thought that was pretty cool. One of Oliver's favorite things is the dogs they are his best friends!! he would prob live in there dog run with them if we let him! in one of the pictures Ryan worked really hard this summer to landscape his yard. he planted 13 trees and they look awesome!

These are some pictures from July 4th and the 24th we had just recently just got back from our trip to California, so me and Ry were OK with pretty much doing nothing. We just all hung out at my parents house, watched all the grand kids play in the sprinklers and did some fire works! don't worry the first picture of us is on the 24th of July and yes we are all in coats... gotta love Utah weather!

The beach again.. you can never get to much of the beach, I think anyways! the boys had fun body boarding and even me and Kim went out. The water was freezing and I'm always a little nervous about sharks but we survived, it was a blast!

DISNEYLAND ( THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH) Ever since me and Ryan have been married we have gone to Disneyland almost every year but since we had Oliver we have not been for a couple of years so we were so excited to go. Oliver loved all the rides the kid really has no FEAR of anything.. we spent most of the day in Disneyland then in the evening went over to California Adventures which was way fun. When it gets dark they have this street were the music is turned super loud and people are dancing everywhere with glowing outfits and glow sticks. Me and Ryan could never get sick of Disneyland... we could live there!

Since we had been pretty busy pretty much from the time we left we decided to have a chill day at the beach. Me and Kim when grocery shopping to get food for the week. While we were gone the boys got to babysit and we came home to them on the deck both looking in binoculars.. wonder what they were looking at! We all had so much fun. The beach and the weather was perfect the whole entire trip.

We went to Sea World which was so much fun. Right when we got there we went and saw the Sea Lions which Oliver loved.. they sounded like dogs and he kept telling them No No No. We got some fish for him to feed them and he loved it, sequoia did not really care for them.. they were a little scary and very loud! I was so worried about how Oliver would do sitting and waiting for all of the shows but he did so good and loved watching them, If the animals on the stage disappered he would throw his hands up like "were did they go" then when they would come back he would clap and laugh with the audience.. it was pretty funny!

The 2nd day we left Vegas and drove the rest of the way to SAN CLEMENTE, CA the kids did awesome! We stayed at a beautiful beach house that looked over the ocean. The whole trip we kept the windows open and listened to the waves and felt the ocean brezze, it was awesome. When we got there Dil and Kim had to go to her cousins wedding so we watched sequoia while they were gone and took them to a little park just down from the beech house.

A couple of weeks ago, we were able to go on a vacation with our great friends, Dillon, Kim and sequoia! Our 1st day we drove to Las Vegas and stayed the night in the Luxor Hotel which was really fun. When we got there we went swimming for a couple of hours, then went out and got some dinner at a buffet where dillon seriously ate his weight in crab legs... kinda gross! then walked the strip which was really interesting... as you can see the street freaks with ollie, Poor little guy was asleep and woke up with these two standing next to him!

So I officially suck at blogging... I'm not really ever to busy I just like spending time with my little boy and not to mention it is so hard to blog when he is around because he will either turn off the computer or come up and slam on the keys. Anyways he is now asleep and Ryan is playing his xbox there for i have nothing to do so all blog. Lets see the past month we have not really been up to much. When it's nice outside during the days you can almost guarantee that me and Oliver are at the park or doing something outside. He will literally stand at my back door or point to my front door until we go outside it gets old but he loves it and it makes him happy. So the month of April was a little crazy... but turned out OK first my sister moved back to Florida which most of you know reading earlier posts and we are happy but sad then a couple of weeks later Ryan's dad was having some heart issue so he was scheduled to go in and get a stint put in, they scheduled his surgery got in there and the doctor decided not to go ahead with it because his heart was worse than he thought. so he got out of surgery was admitted into the ICU and the next days had to get open heart surgery.. Triple bypass, we were all so nervous and shocked because Ryan's dad had never had any health issues but everything went well and he is doing great. It's amazing and scary to me all the trials people have to go through in life... Easter this year was great if I had it my way I would want it on conference Sunday every year, It was nice not having to go anywhere and especially dress up for church, We went to my parents that day and my mom had made a great dinner and had a fun Easter egg for the grandkids. Oliver had fun but still has no idea. Speaking of him he is getting so fun I think he is slowly coming out of his busy stage but lately he climbs up on everything.. so that is scary cause I feel that I am always saving his life.. I swear it's a matter of time before stitches, I hate saying that but he is a wild child and love every minute of his wildness. there are times that I get impatient and just have to remind myself that I wanted this little boy to be just as he is!!

For some reason it's not letting me add any pictures so all just tell you what we have been up to and then maybe post some pictures later. We have not really been up to anything we both just can't wait for spring/summer to get here. I guess the only different thing in our lives is that I switched my work schedule around so that I am home all day everyday and I only work 3 nights a week. I love being home with Oliver even though he is such a busy body, he is into everything but I love it, sometimes I have to remind myself but I feel so lucky to be with him everyday and not to have to worry about babysitters! Oliver is almost 13month He is walking all over the place, he says mama, Dada. Boo for book, puppy, molly, papa, baw for ball and barks like a dog and can moo like a cow! I also have been trying to sign with him he can do more and please.. that's about it, all keep trying!
My sister Stacey and her husband decided to move back to Florida. They left this last Friday and got there on Monday so they made really good time, We are all sad and excited for her at the same time she loves it and so were happy for her, I guess that's just and excuse to go to Florida more often.

This coming Friday, February 12th, 2010 will mark the one year anniversary of the day that changed our lives forever!

On a cold snowy day one year ago, I was able to meet Oliver for the first time. An emotional, spiritual, and exhilarating experience. From that moment, we have been best buds. He has changed so much in 12 months that it is hard to fathom. He went from "I wish he would just do something." to "Geez kid! Sit still!" Tami has posted lots of the fun things we have been able to do all year, so I thought I would do his birthday post.

Before I had one of my own, I always thought how lame it sounded when people said. "Oh they grow up so fast." Ya know what, they really do "grow up so fast!" How cheesy was it when people would just show you picture after picture of their kids on their cell phones. Guess what my cell phone is full of? Anyway, without further ado, here is how we celebrated the 1st Birthday of Ollie...

We invited a few of Ollie's closest friends and our families to come hang out and eat some yummy cake. Oliver's favorite animal is a Dog, he is obsessed with Angus and Molly, so we thought it only fitting to give him a Doggy Birthday cake. Tami has a friend at work that did a superb job making this happen. She made a multi-layered masterpiece complete with a rice crispey head. And even through Ollie a Bone! The cake was a huge hit (not only by the party guests, but as I was carrying it in, everybody commented on how neat it was.)

Knowing that we would be having a disaster zone after the cake, we did presents first. His attention span may be a little longer now that he is a year old, but it still tops out at about 30 seconds. He got a lot of really nice gifts, and kept wanting to play with one rather than moving to the next present. Oh well, it was fun.

We had always hope that Oliver wouldn't be a little wussy man, and would just dive into his cake. Well, we got our wish. Literally! After poking it once or twice, Ollie just face planted into the cake. Looking like a suckerfish in an aquarium, all we could see were his little pulsating cheeks sucking down frosting. He would surface for air occasionally, smiling and looking around for a bit before diving right back in. I hope everyone enjoyed the show, I know we did! I will throw in a short video for those that could not be there.

After the cake everyone just kind of hung out and played the games. The party was a lot of fun, I know Tami and I really had a good time. And speaking on behalf of Oliver, "Thank you for coming, thanks for your support, thanks for the wicked awesome presents, and I love all of you! I had a smashing good time! Now I need to go get whats left of my cake out of my clothes, hair, and diaper!"

Today me and Ryan went up to Sundance snowboarding. It was so much fun, I had never been before so I was a little scared, mostly of the lift.. I know that's funny but I pretty much ate it and I saw a lot of people do that so I felt ok about it. I just laughed! Ryan on the other hand he is like a pro, he was so sweet to stay back with me and go slow! Thanks so much for the date it was much needed and I had a blast!!!

So I am pretty much the worst blogger EVER!! Anyway things have been going really good. Ryan still works 14hr days three times a week then he hangs out with Ollie on his days off while I work..

you will notice in the pictures that there is no order to them... I have been trying to fix it but can't seem too. Oliver is getting so big he is almost 11months old!!! a couple of weeks before he turned 10 months he was walking along furniture, climbing stairs, climbing in the bath tub,crawling everywhere, and getting into everything, He also has 8 teeth, says Mama, Dada and woof woof for a dog! He is so much fun we love him so much! We took him to the mall to see Santa and we didn't think that he would have a problem considering he will go to anyone, then we found out that he doesn't go SANTA.. he was so upset and looked at us like we were the meanest parents EVER. It broke my heart but also was kinda cute! We had a Christmas eve party at Ryan's aunts house that we go to every year. This year was #9 crazy we have spent that many Christmas together, anyway, Santa also came to that party and Oliver screamed even harder this time it was truly sad and Ry said "Dude, you gotta get used to him.. he is breaking into our house tonight." right as he said that he frowned it was so funny! We had a great holiday went to lots of Christmas party's, had our annual ugly sweater party and had awesome Christmas morning! Oliver loved our gifts we got each other more than the ones Santa brought for him.. oh well, maybe next year he will be more into it but we still had so much fun!

9months old & Halloween

Life has been great nothing to complain about! Our lil man is now 9months old! He is ALL over the place, getting into everything he can get his hands on! I'm finding that the things I could put down on the ground before.. I no longer can, he is like a vaccum! Oliver is crawling, standing while holding on to furniture and loves to talk, clap, and click his tounge! and when he want's he waves BYE BYE and it's so CUTE! oliver has his two buttom teeth and one top it's his lil snaggle tooth..thats what we call it anyway. Ry took him to Partyland, they got a ballon and oliver acted like it was the best thing he had ever gotten it was really cute! WE had a great Halloween taking oliver to our parents house, and trick or treating was fun. Me and Ry went down and met kim and baby quoia down at the pumpkin patch which was fun, a lil cold but it was fun taking pictures of the both of them! My sister Julie is and awesome saver... she does the savvy shopper thing and I always kinda made fun of her until I actually went shopping with here so that is why I have a picture of food, that was $40 worth of grocerys and I paid 14!!! cazy right?? by doing this julie has saved aton of money and got her food storage up which is so important so no more making fun of her! Im going to do and save me some MONEY!!

Well we haven't been up to much lately, although, Ryan got a new job a month ago which i don't think i even ever mentioned.. he is working up in Salt Lake building parts for fighter jet airplanes. I think that he enjoys it other than he works 14 hour shifts Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but he gets a 4 day weekend which he LOVES! Oliver is getting big he is 81/2 months old and so much fun! He is into everything, scooting/crawling everywhere and I have come to realize that he is capable of doing worse things than i think... like getting the desitine bottle and getting it all over him and my carpet! (thankfully i got it out.) He loves his dad so much and thinks that he is so cool, he loves the dogs and he really loves other kids too! We are doing so good, we're so blessed and thankful for all that we have and we have nothing to complain about!

RYAN has been so good to me! I just had to post what he did... we just got family pictures done and I wanted some more picture frames to hang them around my house. We went to ROD WORKS(my favorite store) and I showed him a couple of shelves well to say the least he built me one and its so cute, and looks so GOOD!! He then came home from work with a dozen LIME green ROSES... man I love him! thanks honey!

A couple Saturdays ago Ryan decided that he wanted one of those Kelty kid pack and was adamant to find one.. Anyway after looking on craigs list and calling stores we found one on ksl for a dang good deal and had to get it, So we decided to go hiking up to Stewart falls which was way fun other than it rained on us the whole time pretty much. OLLIE did great and we had so much fun hanging out with sheesh and matt!

Ollie is getting to be such a big boy and growing so fast that we didn't have hat that would fit him so we just put ry's bandana on him which i think looked pretty dang CUTE!

Ya know, being an unemployed bum isn't necessarily a bad thing is it?

We have had a pretty fun last few weeks. I have been able to spend a lot of good quality time with the fam. Every summer until this year, I inconveniently missed a lot of fun family events and get togethers because I was traveling being selfish and playing paintball. This year has been very much a year of change.

I don't travel and play paintball anymore, not because I all of the sudden decided to become responsible or anything like that, its because we had a kid (kind of a big deal), and now a new direction for my career. Sad that I call it a career, I'm just a blue collar grunt, but hey, its my calling I suppose. Now summer is wrapping up, I am going to go back to work blahhh, and fall will hit us soon. It was a good run while it lasted, here is some of the stuff we did...

Today we went out to play with the dogs, it was pretty cool. They do really well with grabby little Oliver, and he doesn't mind a lick in the face either so it all works out pretty well. Everyone got slobbery and muddy and had a good bonding moment.

We went to Seven Peaks a bunch of times. We got season passes and went there with Julie and her girls and took my little brother and sisters a bunch. Everyone got good tans and had great fun. I got burnt. It was still pretty fun. Turns out Ollie loves swimming, he would go down all the big slides and not even bat an eye. When it was nap time we would take him out on the tube in the wave pool and he was out within minutes. If only we had one at home...

We had a fun little Pioneer day BBQ at Tami's parents house. Everyone came over and we all had a smashing good time. Oliver got to hold his 1st sparkler. Judging by his mesmerized gaze, I think it was a hit. Luckily no one got burnt, although little Jordyn did get a wicked bad wedgie. I guess dancing around with a stick on fire will cause your knickers to hike. Who knew?

Danielle and Brock invited the whole gang up to Brock's families cabin up in Birdseye for an overnighter. It was really fun. We did manly stuff like fishing and shooting guns. I even got to break in my new shotgun shooting some skeet. When it came to bedtime the fun came to a screeching halt! Oliver was the biggest pain in the butt ever. Luckily his lack of sleep distracted me from the completely flat uncomfortable pillow I got to set my fat bald dome on. So thanks buddy, your a real team player.

We also got invited to Hailey and Brinley's 3rd birthday party in the park! That was really fun, so thanks Twinners for the invite. We had some delectable princess cake, watched the little diva's have their fun in the sun, then topped it off with some fishing in the little pond. Grandpa and uncle Jason are a couple of fly fishing Guru's. Ollie and I got our first lessons doing that. I think Oliver will pass me up in no time.

Tami almost pulled in a whopper Blue Gill probably a scale breaking 1 or 2 oz's, but the little bugger wiggled off before I could snap the pick. Better luck next time Honey.

We have had so much going on... Ryan's brother got married this week in the Manti temple which is so beautiful! we are so Happy for him and sarah. We also got seven peaks passes for the summer with ryan's family so we have gone down there a few times which is really fun, ollie loves the water and loves to hang out with his uncle and aunties!! Oliver is 4months old this week which I can't believe. It really goes by so fast but he does new and different things everyday and its so fun to watch! It seems that june is always a crazy, fun, busy month we have three birthdays in my family one including ryan and we also have our 5th wedding anniversery!!! WOW can't believe it's been 5yrs... really we have been together for 8yrs! I love him so much and am so thankful for him!!

Ollie is now 3 months old. He is getting to be so much fun! he has found his hand which are always in his mouth, he has started to grab and suck on toys what can I say he just love to suck on things espeacially his burp cloth! but for some reason he will not take a binki??? He has now been sleeping through the night for about 3weeks which is so so nice, I dunno what to do getting that much sleep! he loves his bath time we finally got rid of the baby bath and just put him in our tub so he thinks he is such a big boy! he is constantly smiling we love him so much and our so thankful for him! and he sure loves his daddy! he is our lil bugga features!

Mother's DAY weekend

I have had such a great mothers day! it first started with landscaping our yard on friday which was so fun to do. We were working on it for most of the day so we both got a great sunburn... we have been in our house now for almost three years this fall so it's about time! it was all Ryan's idea on what plants to get, and what trees to get, it all turned out so GOOD! On Saturday me, my mom and sisters went out to lunch for mothers day, it's always so fun to have a girls day every once in awhile...anyway for mothers day Ry got me some new running shoes which I am so so excited about! there so cute and man are they comfy! now I can run miles and not be in pain thanks so much honey for all you do I sure love you!

You never know what to expect with Utah weather. This weekend was Christmas break...er, I mean Spring break. After the blizzard on thurday, I got mixed up. So maybe the weather wasnt the best, but we still had a pretty good weekend. Sunday was definitaly the icing on the cake.

Sunday, April 19th 2009 we blessed our little man in church. For the last few weeks we have had it scheduled, I never gave it much thought. Tami on the otherhand thrives on stressing about things. She gets it from her mother, and when the two talk together its worse than a tapdancing clubfoot...(dunno, just made it up) you get the point though. So after countless conversations about the muffin count, and what size of dixie cup, the day was upon us. We invited some family and close friends. I thought I had a cool demeanor, but as it got closer I folded.

"Are you nervous?" everyone asked. H#*L yeah I am, but I couldnt really let them know the full extent. Starting the night before it all started hitting me. Grumbling tummy, restlessness, and sweaty palms... I had to pop an ambein just to sit still and fall asleep. Next morning came, clammy palms in full force. To keep the bore meter down, and the story short, all in all it went well. With a tounge and mouth that felt like cardboard, I stumbled through. Capped it off hoping up to the stage and holding Ollie up like Simba on pride rock, then went and sat quietly, thankfull I was done.

We had everyone come to the house afterwards and thank goodness nailed the bagel and muffin quota. Everyone chowed down and then all was quiet again. Thank you all for supporting Oliver and me by the way!

We then decided to not let this beautacular day go to waste, so our little family headed to the Hogle Zoo. I kind of took a scenic route (getting off 215 a bit early) none the less, we ended up at the gates before too long. Ollie slept most of the afternoon, but I think he had a great time dreaming of monkeys flinging poop, and wishing that obnoxious kid would just fall into the bear pit already. The little while he was awake we checked out some of the birds and fish in discovery park. I think he most liked the bats!

It was a really great day. I dig being a dad. I have a great little guy who's super well behaved, and much more handsome than his old man. Must have more of his momma's looks than people give him credit for. And I have an awesome wife who takes really good care of her boys! I am the one who really got blessed today!

Oliver is now 2months old, I can't even believe it. It has been so fun being a mom! he is now only waking up once to eat at night which is so so nice, i am finally getting sleep again and he is still sleeping most of the day! I took him into the dr apt for his 2mo check and he is pretty much short, fat and has a big head! I love it. he is my lil budda baby! he did great with his shots better than I did, and I even gave them to him with the help of my great friend jill! I went back to work part time 2weeks ago and its getting easier but it was so hard that first day was KILLER. But I am so thankful for ryan's aunt and my mom for watching him and taking such good care of him! I am also so thankful for Ryan for all that he does for our family he is an awesome dad and oliver just adores him!

My baby is 1 month old!!!

My little oliver is now a month old. Me and Ryan can't believe It! It has been a fun 4weeks he is such a good baby, never cries unless hungry or needs a diaper change, and sleeps pretty good through the night. We love him so much and are so thankful for him! He is now no longer wearing new born diapers and his double chin is growing.. it's so stinkin cute!

2 weeks

Ollie had his 2 week apt today at birth he was 6lbs 2 oz and 18in long today he is 7lbs 2oz and 21 in long so he is a growing BOY! He is finally starting to get a double chin which is so stinkin cute! He has been such a good baby only wakes up twice at night and hardly never cries.. we are so lucky to have him. We are such lucky parents!!!

He had to get his PKU done today and hardly cried it was sad! (Ki ya did a great job)

This has been the craziest roller coaster I have ever been on. Magic Mountain has some good ones, and Busch Gardens was cool too, but man! If you could capture this moment and let others experience it, you'd top em all.

It took 9 months of build up and suspense, worry and anxiety. Preparation, projects, showers, and appointments, but it was all worth doing over in a heartbeat. That's just what we got out of it. Another heartbeat and precious addition to our little family.

I never understood why people cannot explain why they felt what they did, or what the whole ordeal was like? I know why now... Its unexplainable. That's the bottom line. How can one person have every emotion hit them in the span of just a couple of seconds. Fear, elation, sadness, happiness, anxious, and spiritual.

I'll do my best. It is scary... Your watching the love of your life go through this messy and painful, complicated and foreign happening. Its bloody scary. Literally (ewww). It is so exciting though. I was on a huge adrenaline high. There is a lot going on and its hard not to get a little amped up for it all! With that came the sadness. Momma's in pain, she was new to all of this, its crazy. Then you see your little guy for the 1st time. He looks rough. That was an ordeal getting outta there. Sure it was a little cramped, but man was it nice and warm and safe. No worries in Mom's tummy; he's protected and fed. Its scary to see him get all roughed up and sucked out. I don't like to think of myself as a big boob or anything, but I was overcome with emotion when I saw him at that moment. As weird and frankly gross as they look, its a beautiful thing to behold. Its when I was able to hold him in my arms for that first time though when it hit me hardest. So hard I got choked up and ALMOST, almost leaked. Being a manly man of my stature, I had to keep it together (plus how could I responsibly take suitable pictures in that blurry eyed state?).

Anyway, its been a wild ride. Tiring in all aspects, but just as fulfilling. I am more grateful for my own parents now too. The time Tami and I have been able to spend together for these last few years has been great and I don't regret for a second waiting, but we have made the plunge into parenthood. I am planning on hitting the ground running, and I am not going to stop til my legs fall off! Time for Ollie and me to have some bonding time and catch the NBA All-star game! Peace out!

Over the holidays we spent lots of time with family and friends. Ryan's dad and four lil brother and sisters stayed with us for Christmas as well as everyone else.. it was fun
and good to have them over.. We went to my parents house for dinner and just to chill it was a nice relaxing day! Well i Kinda take that back it was a nice day but being 8mo preggo I kinda went a lil crazy because my house was a mess and i cried and i cleaned the junk drawer...Who cleans there junk drawer?? I'm sure, well i know, Ryan thought i was crazy but still hugged and loved me while i cried in his arms.. not kidding!

Well I haven't posted pictures or anything for awhile so I thought I would just let everyone know what's going on..

For it being december we are pretty busy with shoping, parties, etc.. (isn't everyone) Ry is still working at RMC machining and I am still at the Dr office which I love. in the past couple months ry has gone on two paintball tourn and his team has done great. We finished the Nursery, painted our whole house. Just trying to get all the things around the house done before our lil oliver arrives. This weekend we will be doing our annual oberg christmas party with all our friends and we are so excited for it! cant wait to see all the UGLY christmas sweaters... my hubbys is pretty dang ugly hopefully I can get some pic posted on sat.. speaking of him he has been such a good,loving,patient,hubby!I have been so so emotional lately and he has been so good to deal with me... love ya babe! And we are just so THANKFUL for all that we a have been blessed with!

Well since we have no kids yet 101/2 Weeks to be exact..:) my tree is fancy! but when we have kids at home I wouldn't mind have a kid decorated tree.

The Mink returns...dun Dun DUNNNN!!!!!

So I have left you all hanging for a little while for this intense edge of your seat thrilling sequel, and now it is time to reveal the 2nd half of this horrifying saga.

Tami and I had decided to have a nice night at home and just watch a movie. We ended up dogging out on some friends and were looking forward to the quiet comforts of our humble abode. Being the classy and fashionable individual I am, I slipped into my AC/DC t-shirt and some XXL sweat shorts and prepared for this pleasant evening of sitting, scratching, eating, and lounging in front of the tube (in no particular order). We put on a flick and hit play.

The night had been a serene and pleasant evening. Uneventful and undisturbed, no annoying paintball calls, Tami didn't even call her mom the usual 7 times in 3 hours, and thankfully no church calls. So far so good. The movie ended and we were just hanging around watching T.V. By this time it was about midnight. That's when it happened...

Molly starts going crazy! "Oh man...not again" was the first thought in my head. Then I heard it. That creepy blood curdling wail the devil creature's make. Well luckily I was awake and fortunately dressed this time. Already one step ahead. The thing I didn't have going for me were: first, I have the dogs loose in the yard so I have no idea where the mayhem could be going down this time, and the crazy little bastard might be even harder to shoe away with this much ground. And second, regrettably the sprinklers are on right now. Oh well no time to whine, I need to act with haste and valour! I flick on the outside lights and head into the fray. Directly in front of the deck in the middle of the lawn goes the battle. The Mink is in the center of a circling Molly and Angus. Up on its hind legs with teeth barred and ready for the fight. Even in the dim light and from 30 feet away I can see its little dagger like teeth poised and waiting to strike. This possessed animal can definitely hold its own. As Molly ducks and weaves like Ali around his opponent the mink never takes its eyes off her. Standing in its defensive position it knows she is the one out of its two enemies that will come in for the blow. ( My hands are getting sweaty just reliving the moment. I hope you are getting a grasp of the severity of this all!!!) Molly swoops in for a quick attack and a little nip bite. The defender evades with a arching move backwards and counters. A quick little bite on Molly's nose lets her know this is not going to be easy and the mink will not fall without a fight. Barking, circling, and bouncing around the mink Molly tries to keep her withing the ring she wants this brawl in. Screaming, squawking, and occasional lunges this mink continues to access the predicament it has gotten in to.

After taking all of this in within a couple seconds I decide I will enter in and conquer Satan's spawn once and for all! I rushed down the wood stairs and into the yard. Angus being the loyal and lovable companion he is jovially bounds over to me as soon as I call his name. I take him by the collar and decide this will be easiest with out the k-9's in the fight. I also don't want him getting hurt as he is a little accident prone. He mostly cooperates and I get him in the dog run. Molly on the other hand doesn't have the time of day to hear what I am saying. Wont even look away from the mink when I call her. Not willing to go in myself and get bitten by either one of them I just kinda pace around like a schoolboy who just watched his bus drive away. Luckily my sidekick Tamara was on the deck above and suggested I get the paintball gun and finish this once and for all. I ran back in the house and into the garage. Hurried and set up the weapon that would vanquish my foe and return peace to my humble home. Running back outside armed and ready to go I found the the fight had drifted a little ways across the yard. I knelt down, took aim, and fired a single round into the mink. The sound startled Molly and the impact stunned the mink. The time to act and get Molly away was now. I rushed in and grabbed her. Put her in the pen and headed back. By this time most of the neighborhood was up and my next door neighbor was already in my yard to see what was going on. When he came in, I had assumed a squatting sniper position and was shooting the mink in the face with shot after shot. Although a little fun, maybe a little sick, my efforts were futile. It was not making it run away and had not killed it. That's when the cavalry came.

Tyson another valiant neighbor charged in the yard, beer in one hand cigarette in the other with his comrades. Yelling "is that a mink?" "lemme get it" he scrambled around the yard for a weapon of mass destruction. Armed with an eight foot 2X4 he took off into the sprinklers across the entire lot to chase down a now retreating and probably wounded mink. Swinging the board like the great hammer of Thor and nearly breaking my fence in the process he squashed out the life of the savage mink. The same creature that took 2 dogs, one brave warrior, 4 friends, and 2 meetings to overcome. The war was over! Hoisting the lifeless animal up in the air by its tail, Tyson the caveman brought his kill back to us all. After admiring it and reliving the adrenaline filled story all was finally calm. Everyone returned home, Tyson taking his trophy with him. Fortunately we have not had another since. I am sure in the mink world the story has traveled far and wide and no mink will ever dare to come near house 931 or its surroundings ever again.

Wanna hear a crazy story?

As I am laying peacefully in my bed, only have been a sleep for about an hour...All hell breaks loose outside our window!

The dogs start going absolutely ballistic (that would be Angus and Molly if you don't already know our children). I wake up a little groggy, kinda mad, and I'll admit a teeny weeny bit scared. "What is going on?" I say to the wife. In between the mad barking I hear the weirdest sound. I would describe it as a mix between a cat meowing, a baby crying, and the scream you'd make when you see that axe murderer in your window. Plus it was loud! I fall out of bed and go to the back sliding glass door. Standing on the deck in my knickers I yell at the dogs to shut up. The screaming starts again... "W.T.F."... something is making my dogs go bonkers out there. A little embarrassed (partly cause I am standing outside in my Jesus jammies, and partly cause my mutts are making such a ruckus.) I throw some ball shorts on and go out to defend my home and family. As I head out in the yard, I realize its coming from in here! I kick the dogs out of the dog run and hobble bare foot in to the gravel battleground to face my foe. I armed myself with a piece of PVC pipe and headed right for the trash can the beast was hiding under. It wouldn't come out and face me like a man, so I tiptoed a little closer. After whacking the can a couple times and getting screamed at I decided to move the can. The crazed little mongrel just about ran over my feet! I very masculine like jumped out of the way and squealed a swear word. After hitting the rocks at it, I conquered the beast and it retreated... Some night huh? Turns out the little savage was a Mink from the local farms. I don't know how it escaped? Why it decided to come in my yard? And more vexing, why the dog run of my yard? The dogs came back in to a comfy cozy safe home and all was well...

JUNE... has been such a crazy fun month.. started with 3 birthdays including my Ryry, Fathers Day and our 4 year anniversery!!! it was a great month. I have so much to be thankful for right now. we both have great jobs, have a house, working cars great families and great friends were so very blessed!!! I cant believe that me and ryan have been married for 4 yrs it has been the greatest 4 years, we have had so much fun togeather from going camping, vacation, going to the park, chillin at home, playing with the dogs, going to movies, haning with our friends. were always keeping busy doing something fun. oh ya ry also plays paintball, he loves it and enjoys it so much. I enjoy watching him. I ruv him so much!!

my grandpa who was 100 years old passed away on may 17, he just died of old age, it has been something different that i have ever experienced before, I was sad but excited for him at the same time, he got to go meet with his wife his love of his life again, how nice for him. anyone I have ever lost has passed away of something tragic.... he just died of old age he lived a wonderful life, he was so kind, sweet, and loving, and caring. He did so many great things in his life time and served in the church he was such a great person he would never would say anything bad about anyone... I hope that I can strive to be like him!

It was a great weekend we did so many fun things.... we went to a club (keys on main) with ryan's sis doobs and her hubby, malissa and randy, it was different but so fun! we went to church on sunday all 3 hours i cant believe it but we did, then we went to a bbq with darrin, cali, and there sweet little baby kylee. it was great but weekends are never long enough.... i always have so much fun with my hubby though!

Me and Ryan vacationed in Florida for 1 week. It was really fun and busy. we were able to stay with my sister stacey and her hubby matt... we had a blast with them. It was great we love them very much!!!! Ryan had a paintball tournament and took third place.

We went to the beach and to st augastine, which is such a cool town bye the way It is the oldest town in the US it was such a chill day!! It was fun just hangin out just us!

We went to seaworld, which was so fun! I had not been there since I was three... it was way fun to watch the dolphin and the whales... there are only a coulpe of rides there but tonz of stuff to look at it, It was really fun! it was nice to come home to our puppies.

We have been married for almost 4 years in June. We have 2 children and we have 'em hairy!...Angus and Molly. We live in Lehi in our second home and love it so much! Me and Ryan like to go to movies, camping, vacations... speaking of vacations just got home from Florida. Ryan plays paintball and had a tournament. It was so great watching him, other than it was BLOODY hot! Ryan works at RMC as a machinest, making carbon fiber jets. I work at Alpine Pediatrics . We both love our jobs! Ryan is the oldest of 8 children, 3 boys and 5 girls. I am the youngest of 4 and I'm spoiled rotten, 2 sisters and one brother.We have 3 nieces and 1 baby boy nephew and 1 girl neice on the way!hopefully soon we can have our own FAMILY! Life is great!
